Brush Fire Remains Spark Ardmore Blaze

The incident happened Tuesday evening at a home in the 300 block of Hathaway Lane in Ardmore.

Investigators believe a nearby brush fire sparked a blaze on the roof of a Montgomery County home Tuesday evening.
Firefighters quickly doused flames atop a home in the 300 block of Hathaway Lane in Ardmore.
Embers from a brush fire along nearby SEPTA tracks may have ignited the house fire, officials said.
Additional homes in the area were checked for any further damage from the flames.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
