Police Locate Several Stolen Baby Jesus Statues
QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (AP) ―
State police are having a string of successes in their search for some Philadelphia-area residents who had religious figures stolen from nativity scenes in recent weeks.
State police in Bucks County are tracking down some of the owners of ten baby Jesus statues that turned up on two lawns in the Richland Township and Milford Township communities 35 miles north of Philadelphia.
Now six of the statues have been returned to their owners. State Police Corporal Paul Romanic says they may be plastic figures but they have sentimental value for the families and police are looking for the thieves.
