your story of brotherly love with CBS 3. : Hi, my name is Nancy Marsh, my
Father, Clinton Wilbourn, III died on Dec. 6th of this year, which was a shock
to the whole family. He was in Wallingsford Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Ctr.
for rehab on his legs. He was scheduled to come back home on the 15th of
December, then he went into Cardiac Arrest on Dec. 4th and was resuscitated, he
was then put on life support and then later died on the 6th, which was also the
day that my baby sister died back in 1998. To cope I said she came and got him.
I then called the funeral home that all of our family members had been laid out
at (Terry?s Funeral Home) and they went and got him. That Monday we went to set
up the arrangements for the burial. We were to have a viewing with the body on
Dec 13th and then he was to be cremated and delivered to me on Dec 16th then
things went wrong the funeral Owner/Director (not the original owners that knew
our family) stated that the Insurance Policy was no good, he couldn?t accepted
it because if wasn?t two years old or older, I called the Insurance company and
they said they will pay but they have to investigate first and the Funeral polar
won?t wait. That?s when everything was shattered. It was bad enough that he had
died so unexpectedly, but now we have to pay out of pocket to have him cremated,
and we can?t have the viewing. I and my brother don?t work, my brother is in
school and I am on unemployment. With the holiday coming so quickly it is hard
to celebrate the holiday and mourn our Father?s death, knowing that we have no
way to pay the funeral expense, the only payment arrangements we can make is to
get him cremated, then pay off the balance. Then the Funeral polar doesn?t even
want to work with us on payment arrangements for what we wanted to do.
Therefore, we are just doing a straight cremation because that is all we can
afford to pay and we are struggling to do that, because we don?t have any money
to do so.

your story of brotherly love with CBS 3. : Nine Fifth grade girls raised
money to plant 10 trees on "Black Friday", therefore making it "Green Friday".
Green Acres Nursery was so impressed, they donated the trees and asked if the
girls would do something to help others. The girls bought hundreds of dollars
worth of food and donated it to Manna on Main street( a local foodbank)! Keep
the spirit growing... what can you do to make a difference in the lives of
others? Merry Christmas!
