In these tough economic times, many consumers cut back on spending. This year, a reported 29 percent of shoppers say that includes Halloween.
But, don't let your budget take the fun out of the fright fest!
If you'd rather not resurrect last year's costume, you can swap it for something 'new to you' at
Bohema Artisan and Vintage Boutique in Roxborough.
The year round vintage shop turns Halloween hot spot for savvy shoppers with costume selections for adults, kids and even your four legged friends!
Prices range from five to 25 dollars or less if you trade in your old costume.
"For a mask, you would get about 50 points or 10 dollars. For a full costume, you'd get about 100 points or 20 dollars," explained shop owner Ali Kutner.
Bohema has extended hours every Friday night until nine p.m. The shop is also open during the week and on weekends. For more on Bohema's Halloween Costume swap,
