Soldiers Killed In Iraq Attack Returned Home

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. (AP) ― The Air Force said the remains of five Army soldiers killed in Iraq arrived Sunday night at Dover Air Force Base.

The Army says the five were killed Friday when their military vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in Mosul, Iraq. The Army identified the soldiers as 24-year-old Staff Sgt.  Gary L. Woods Jr., of Lebanon Junction, Ky.; 32-year-old Staff Sgt. Bryan E. Hall, of Elk Grove, Calif.; 25-year-old Sgt. Edward W.  Forrest Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; 20-year-old Cpl. Jason G. Pautsch, 20, of Davenport, Iowa; and 22-year-old PV2 Bryce E. Gautier of Cypress, Calif.

The Pentagon's 18-year ban on media covering the return of fallen U.S. service members to the Dover mortuary ended last Sunday.
