Fallen Soldier Being Returned Home

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. (AP) ― The Air Force says the remains of a soldier killed in Iraq will arrive Tuesday afternoon at Dover Air Force Base.

The Army says 23-year-old Army Spc. Michael J. Anaya of Crestview, Fla., died Sunday when a bomb went off near his vehicle in Bayji, Iraq.

Anaya was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

The Pentagon's 18-year ban on media covering the return of fallen U.S. service members to the Dover mortuary ended earlier this month.
