Filming a documentary about working at a high school isn't the only thing Tony Danza will be doing while he spends time in Philadelphia.
Danza hosted the Philadelphia Orchestra's Fallen Heroes Tribute Concert at the Mann Center Sunday night, saluting the women and men in blue who have recently lost their lives in the line of duty.
The concert was a fundraiser for the Fraternal Order of Police Survivor's Fund.
Admission was free for the event, with a suggested donation of $20.00.
The concert also featured the beloved Soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams, who was born and raised in Philadelphia.
Mayor Michael Nutter gave an emotional speech to the hundreds in attendance, expressing his grief for those who lost loved ones in the line of duty.
"Police officers and their families, everyday make a sacrifice to keep us safe," said Danza.
