If you are looking for a few laughs, there's a museum about 20 minutes from the city that will have you saying, Let's Go
Cheap!
The Stoogeum in Gwynedd Valley, Pa. is the only museum in the world dedicated to the Three Stooges.
The three-story museum houses anything and everything Stooge.
Curator Gary Lassin has been a fan of the Stooges since he was a child and now he's part of the family. His wife is the granddaughter of Larry Fine's brother, Morris Feinberg. He says he felt it was his duty to establish the shrine to the comedy legends.
"I decided that I needed to be the world's biggest Stooge," Lassin said.
The Stoogeum has about 100,000 items on display from old movie posters to Stooges beer.
There are interactive displays, video games and an 85-seat theater used for film screenings.
The museum also serves as the headquarters of the Three Stooges Fan Club, one of the nation's oldest and largest fan clubs with 2,000 members world-wide.
The best part, there is no admission fee. The only catch is that it is only open one Saturday a month.
