Jonas Brothers Surprise Fans At S.F. Theater

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) ― The Jonas Brothers stunned a theater packed with young girls when they arrived in person to promote their new concert film.

The pop stars were greeted with deafening screams Sunday night as they strode into the San Francisco theater, one of several across the country they visited on the opening weekend of their film, "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience."

"I'm so excited, I can't believe this happened, I never dreamt this would happen," said one fan, who appeared to be on the verge of tears. "I was just so happy that I at least saw them."

Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas answered questions for reporters just before facing the mob of fans, saying they always like performing in Northern California.

"Our relationship with the Bay Area is amazing," Kevin Jonas said. "The fans here have always been really supportive. We love touring here."

The film opened Friday, capping some heady weeks for the Grammy-nominated brothers. They performed at the White House for presidential daughters Malia and Sasha Obama last month.
