Singer Bobby Rydell Under Investigation For DUI

NARBERTH, Pa. (CBS 3) ― South Philadelphia native Bobby Rydell is being investigated for alleged drunk driving after crashing his car in Narberth.

Rydell, whose real name is Bobby Ridarelli, allegedly crashed his Bentley into a retaining wall outside a yoga studio on Montgomery Avenue Monday afternoon.

Rydell has not been charged pending the outcome of a blood test.

Rydell is most famous for his music in the 50's and 60's, including Volare, Wild One and Wildwood Days. He currently resides in Narberth.
