Cumberland Co. Teacher Arrested For Sexual Assault

Cumberland County prosecutors have announced the arrest of a Millville teacher on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting a minor.
Michael Drebes, 37, a math teacher at the Millville Memorial High School, allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old student over the course of four months, policer said. According to reports, the assaults took place in Cumberland, Cape May and Camden counties.
County officials say he also allegedly committed an act of sexual assault on a former student who is currently 16-years-old.
While the investigation is ongoing, Cumberland and Cape May County prosecutors have charged Drebes with aggravated sexual assault on a minor less than 16-years-old and endangering the welfare of a child. Charges are also pending in Camden County.\
He remained jailed Saturday on $500,000 bail.
