70-Year-Old NJ Man Arrested For Heroin Possession

Lower Township Police arrested a 70-year-old man last Friday after finding a large amount of heroin in his pick-up truck.

A 70-year-old Lower Township man has been arrested after a large amount of heroin was found in his pick-up truck.
Police stopped Francis Leszcynski at about 5:30 p.m. on September 11 as he was driving into the North Cape May Shopping Center.
During a search of his car, police found 24 packets of heroin.
Leszcynski told police that he had more heroin at his home in the 400 block of Jacksonville Avenue.
Detectives searched his house and found 24 more packets and a large amount of cash.
Leszcynski was sent to the Cape May County Jail with bail set at $25,000 cash.
Leszcynski was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
