Coast Guard Pulls 4 From Sinking Boat In N.J.
CAPE MAY, N.J. (AP) ―
The Coast Guard rescued four people after their 75-foot fishing boat began taking on water off southern New Jersey.
The Coast Guard says it received word from the Alexander II around 3:30 a.m. Monday that the crew was abandoning ship about 80 miles southeast of Cape May.
A rescue helicopter hoisted all four from the life raft and flew them to Cape May County Airport in Wildwood.
No injuries were reported.
