Young Teen Gunned Down In Camden

Davon Jones, 16, was fatally shot in a Camden housing community at about midnight on June 24.

Camden Police are searching for suspects in the deadly shooting of a young teen Wednesday.
Authorities said 16-year-old Davon Jones of Sicklerville was shot multiple times in Ablett Village at about midnight.
Relatives said Jones was bringing a graduation gift to a friend, who had recently been involved in an altercation with another group. As Jones arrived at the scene, he was struck by gunfire.
The teen was pronounced a short time later.
Family members said Jones was nicknamed "Smiley" and would do anything for his relatives.
