Camden Country officials, Collingswood Police and U.S. Marshal Officers have announced two arrests in connection to murder of a Woodlynne bakery owner.
It was announced Friday that Rashawn Carter, 24, and William Cooper Jr., 31, were captured and charged with felony murder in connection to the October 14 killing of Oscar Medina Hernandez.
The two men were found together at a home on the 1500 block of South 7th Street in Camden, after an investigation by members of the U.S. Marshal's New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force lead to the arrest.
Store owner Hernandez, 29, was shot and killed during the attempted robbery. Police said no cash was taken during the incident.
Surveillance video captured images of the suspects who fled the bakery after failing to open the business' cash register.
The Citizen's Crime Commission is still offering a $1,000 reward for any information that would lead to the arrest & conviction of a third suspect in this case.
Superior Court Judge Thomas Brown ordered each man held at the Camden County Jail on $1 million bail in hearings Friday afternoon.
