The economy is in a tailspin, but some fabulous freebies may be within your grasp.
With Skype, you can reach out and touch someone and it won't cost you a cent. It's an internet phone service where you can talk for free. Local, international, you name it!
Just download some free software and you're ready to go.
Looking for a phone number? Skip traditional 4-1-1 in favor of 1-800-free-411.
You'll have to listen to a 12 second commercial first, but you'll save a dollar or more every time you use it.
Looking for art and entertainment?
Everyday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, kids 12 and under are admitted for free. The museum has another great deal.
"We also have had for a long time, a policy of Sunday being pay what you wish admission. That's our day when we welcome people from all walks of life. Everyone makes a voluntary donation of their choosing," said Marla Shoemaker, Curator of Education at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Thinking of learning a foreign language?
You can begin to parlez vous with the best of them by logging on to the BBC Web site. You'll find beginner programs for seven different languages from French to Chinese.
While you're on the web, sign up for online bill paying.
At 42 cents a pop, think of all the stamps you'll save! And you can even earn money.
Citizens Bank's Green Sense program pays you back 10 cents every time you pay a bill without paper!
Need a table? Some gym equipment? Before shelling out hard earned cash, check out sites like Craigslist and Freecycle for everything from furniture to office supplies.
"A lot of times people just wanna get rid of them and they'll say hey, free pick up, just come and get it, we'll give it to you free, just get it off our hands," said Craigslist user, Chelsea Conway.
On kidsmealdeals.com, you can find local restaurants that feed kids for free. Some chain restaurants also offer deals for children.
"At Denny's on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., we offer kids eat free. Families can come up, take it easy on their pocketbook," said Tim Farrell with Denny's Restaurant.
