Firefighter Injured In Burlington Co. Blaze
WILLINGBORO, N.J. (CBS 3) ―
A Burlington County firefighter was injured while battling a three-alarm blaze at an area shopping center early Wednesday morning.
Crews were called to the 300 block of Beverly Rancocas Road in Willingboro after reports of flames in the Country Club Plaza at about 4 a.m.
The fire apparently began in a pharmacy and quickly spread to adjacent businesses, leading firefighters to strike a third-alarm at about 5:15 a.m. Officials said the fire was under control by 5:45 a.m.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries during the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
