Child Injured In Bucks Co. Drag Racing Accident
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (CBS 3) ―
According to Middletown Township Police, two people, including a two-year-old girl were injured
in a drag racing accident involving two vehicles near the Waterworks on
West Lincoln highway.
One of the vehicles, which was driven by Yaroslav Eankulich, 17, lost control and hit another vehicle driven by Nick Di Pasquale. Pasquale had his two-year-old daughter in his car who was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with various injuries reported at this time.
Pasquale was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne PA where he underwent surgery for his injuries. There is no report of any injuries sustained by Eankulich at this time.
According to witnesses the two vehicles ran off the roadway and down into an embankment where the victims, including the young girl, were ejected from their vehicles.
Middletown Police are still in the process of interviewing witnesses.
