What's Hot On The Web - August 1, 2008

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― From absurd ebay auctions to forty four pound cats, you never know what will be 'hot on the web!'

Our first story made it to the top of our CBS3.com hit list as thousands of users logged on to learn more about the Bucks County man behind the wedding dress diss.

The man whose wife left him for a younger "model" is selling her wedding dress to pay for his divorce lawyer. Bidding started at just fifty dollars and after eleven bids, has a current price tag of ninety four dollars.

The next story making waves involves a gigantic cat! CBS3.com users couldn't get enough of forty four pound "Princess Chunk," who was later identified as "Prince Powder." The tubby tabby was found outside without a collar in Voorhees, New Jersey after the owner claimed she couldn't care for him.

Since the headline hit, over two hundred people have applied to adopt him.

Finally, after this week's heatwave, many area residents are finding ways to beat the heat!

Scores of CBS3.com users sent in their snapshots and appeared in our "Cooling Off" slideshow. If you'd like to be added, just send your pictures to webpix@cbs3.com.

Remember, we may be talking, but if you're not clicking, it's not working. So, send us your comments by email or leave them on CBS3.com Digital Journalist Nicole Brewer's blog. It's up to you to tell us what's hot on the web!
