Your Backstage Pass To Mamma Mia

Cherry Hill's Sara Braslow Takes You Behind The Scenes

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― When CBS3.com caught up with local Mamma Mia actress Sara Braslow before Wednesday night's show, the Cherry Hill native was laid back, relaxed and "having the time of her life."

As dance captain, ensemble member and swing player in the smash hit musical, Mamma Mia, Braslow has spent the last three years touring the country doing exactly what she loves.

Now, as Mamma Mia makes its Philadelphia debut at the Academy of Music, she's performing for the people she loves.

"My friends and family came to the show last night and I have so many people coming to the show over the next few days. It's just nice to finally be able to come home."

With a successful traveling tour booked into 2010 and Mamma Mia the movie premiering this Friday in theaters, the musical has certainly garnered a lot of buzz in recent weeks.

As for Sara, she says she's just happy to be a part of it.

"It really is a great show ... and the best part is looking out into the audience and having them sing right back to you!"
