For American Political blogger, Duncan Black, "feeding the beast" pays the bills.
"I think people know they can come to my site and quickly get an idea of what's going on in the news or political universe," said Black.
Known to his readers as 'Atrios,' Black developed and maintains '
Eschaton,' a popular liberal blog.
Consisting of one or two lines, Black's snarky, but straight forward posts attract nearly one-hundred thousand hits per day, adding to the overall impact of online politics.
"What blogs have done is said, look ... anyone can do this. You don't need to go on television, you don't need to write for a newspaper, you don't need to get published in a magazine to have your voice heard," explained Black.
One thing you do need? Buzzworthy topics.
So, what issues are hot on Eschaton this election eve?
"There's concern over there being trouble at polling places, voter irregularities, general concerns the election won't go smoothly," said Black.
