For Meredith Klein and Andres Amarilla, it definitely takes two to tango. As professional tango partners and husband and wife, they travel the world to teach others about their passion: Argentine Tango.
"The most basic thing about tango is that it's based on natural movement ... it's based on walking," said Klein.
Now, the dancing duo are sharing the dance form with Philadelphians as co-directors of the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School.
"We try to give people a sense of what the absolute basics of tango are ... we teach them basic combinations so they can then combine those movements and improvise successfully," explained Klein.
The one and a half hour classes incorporate exercise, demonstrations and lessons in technique.
