Nix Pix: Week In Video (June 27, 2008)

A Look At The Craziest Clips on CBS 3

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― As the week winds down, the CBS3.com week in video begins. Watch as CBS3.com Digital Journalist Nicole Brewer takes a look back at this week's craziest clips as seen on CBS3 and CBS3.com.

The wacky web reel begins with a daredevil in Denver, Colorado. The man known as "Professor Splash" jumped from a 35-foot platform Thursday into a 12-inch kiddie pool. Not only did the courageous man earn international recognition, he also broke his own world record.

Then, from a splash heard 'round the world to attack of the surfer … an angry mob of surfers attack a paparazzo in an effort to protect their turf and their famous friend. The photographer was shooting pictures of Matthew McConaughey when he was chased down and stripped of his camera.

Our final clip proves you really can sell almost anything on Ebay. A Virgina bride-to-be is getting the wedding of her dreams and a free bridesmaid to boot! The bride auctioned off a spot in her bridal party on Ebay and while no humans bid, a soft drink maker did.

A spokesperson for Dr. Pepper says the company will provide free drinks at the wedding, set-up a website to find a bridesmaid and provide a "surprise guest" at the wedding.
