Robin Rieger
Robin Rieger joined CBS 3's Eyewitness News team in April, 1996.
Since joining Eyewitness News, Rieger has distinguished herself with her on-the-scene coverage of the Rabbi Neulander trial, the RNC Convention and several major labor disputes including a potential SEPTA transit strike and a dispute between teachers and the Philadelphia School District.
Rieger came to CBS 3 from Metro Traffic Control in Philadelphia where she covered news and traffic for local radio stations for five years. Rieger has also served as anchor and reporter for Jones Intercable in New Jersey and was a reporter for The Burlington County Times. She began her professional career as a producer for Viacom sister radio station WIP All Sports Radio in 1989
Rieger is a 1988 graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Raised in Edgewater Park, New Jersey, Rieger and her husband, 76ers radio play-by-play announcer Tom McGinnis, now live in South Jersey with their daughter, Kenna.
In her spare time, she enjoys country music, golf and skiing.
