Robin Rieger
Since joining the station, Rieger has distinguished herself with her on-the-screen coverage of the Rabbi Neulander trial, the RNC Convention and several major labor disputes including a potential SEPTA transit strike and a dispute between teachers and the Philadelphia School District.
Rieger came to CBS 3 from Metro Traffic Control in Philadelphia where she covered news and traffic for local stations for five years. She had also served as anchor and reporter for Jones Intercable in New Jersey and was a reporter for The Burlington County Times. She began her professional career as a producer for CBS sister radio station 610 WIP Radio in 1989.
Rieger is a 1988 graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Raised in Edgewater Park, New Jersey, Rieger and her husband, 76ers radio play-by-play announcer Tom McGinnis, now live in South Jersey with their daughter, Kenna, and son, Luke.
In her spare time, she enjoys country music, golf and skiing.
