Traffic

Bob Kelly

Bob Kelly, CBS 3's high-energy traffic reporter, can be seen weekdays on Eyewitness News during the early morning and late afternoon commuter crunch times.

Kelly, who joined the CBS 3 team in 2001, brings a unique, high-octane style to the station, offering viewers a combination of wit and vast knowledge of Philadelphia's side streets and detours. As a hometown guy, Kelly provides commuters with an "inside" track on their trips to work and colorful local references along with his reports.

In addition to serving as CBS 3's traffic guru, Kelly also provides traffic updates weekday mornings and afternoons on CBS sister radio station 98.1 WOGL as well as for 94WYSP and for Sixers and Flyers home games.

A Northeast Philadelphia native who attended Temple University, Kelly got his start at WMGK-FM in 1996 as an on-air personality and traffic reporter. He joined Shadow Traffic in 1997 then moved on to Smooth Jazz, WJJZ-FM in 1999 before joining Eyewitness News.

Kelly resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. He is the proud father of two daughters.
