Jim Osman
Jim Osman joined CBS 3's Eyewitness News team in October 2005. The three-time Edward R. Murrow and nine-time Emmy award winning investigative reporter came to CBS 3 from KNXV-TV in Arizona, where he had been an investigative reporter since 2002.
He developed his passion for political and investigative work as investigative and consumer reporter for KGUN-TV in Tucson, Arizona, and at WBRE-TV in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania market before working in Tucson. Previously, he served as morning anchor and general assignment reporter for WMDT-TV in Salisbury, Maryland.
Osman began his career at WILM Newsradio in Wilmington, Delaware where he covered politics and the state legislature.
He is a 1993 honors graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. While at Syracuse, he was a student intern for NBC's Meet The Press in Washington and completed the Institute on Political Journalism at Georgetown University.
Osman is a native of Florence, Burlington County, New Jersey and graduated from Florence Township Memorial High School. He resides in Center City Philadelphia.
