Don Bell
Don Bell, CBS 3's weekend sports anchor, appears regularly on CBS 3 Sports Zone, the station's Sunday night sports program in addition to hosting The Phillies Post-Game show on The CW Philly, CBS 3's sister station.
The Emmy Award-winning sportscaster joined CBS 3's Eyewitness News team as a sports reporter in October, 2005.
Bell came to Philadelphia from KPLR-TV, the WB station in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he worked as the weekend sports anchor and hosted the post-game shows for the Saint Louis Cardinals. He was with KPLR since 2004.
Previously, Bell served as sports anchor/reporter at WWSB-TV, the ABC station in Sarasota, Florida since 2002. He also worked as a correspondent and political reporter for the Medill News Service serving stints in Washington, D.C. and Chicago.
A New Jersey native, Bell is a 2000 graduate of Boston University where he graduated with dual degrees -- a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received a Master of Science degree in Journalism in 2002 from Northwestern University's prestigious Medill School of Journalism.
Bell resides in Philadelphia.
